Apendectomy

An apendectomy is surgery to remove the appendix. It's a simple operation these days and leaves a very small scar. The recovery time is fairly short, considering that they're opening up your abdomen. Any time a doctor messes with your abdomen, it takes time to recover. It isn't just a few days. But it's not so bad. It's amazing they can perform the surgery through such a small hole now. The scars used to be pretty big.
