What's Wrong With Me?
Deviated septim
Posted By: Dave Date: Monday, September 19 2005, at 8:35 p.m.
A deviated septim is kind of an extreme case of something that's not uncommon. The piece of cartilidge that separates the two sides of your nostrils is slightly crooked in a lot of people. But if it's extremely crooked, the it's called a deviated septim.
This can cause a number of different problems, such as problems breathing and chronic sinus infections. The primary cure is to correct it with surgery and usually only on adults so that the body is finished developing.
