Peripheral artery desease is also known as PAD. It's primarily poor blood circulation in your legs. You may or may not even know if you have it because there won't necessarily be any indications. However, PAD can potentially increase the risk for heart attack. If you have pain or weakness in your legs, then this may be an indication of PAD.
