The most common symptom that people experience when having a heart attack is numbness in the left arm. Sometimes it may even be in both arms. This is a red flag. If your arm starts to feel numb, then get help immediately. If you begin to feel pain in the center of your chest, then you need to act even faster.
Even if it turns out that you aren't having a heart atack, it's best to assume you are. Don't take any chances. The sooner you get help, the better your chances of surviving with no permanent effects.
