Heart Desease

Heart Desease most commonly brings to mind heart attacks. While this is a big part of heart desease, heart desease really encompasses much more. The term really refers to problems with your heart, and in some cases maybe even including the whole circulatory system.

The bottom line is, however, that heart desease can lead to heart failure. It doesn't matter if it's a direct problem with the heart itself or if the arteries are plugged up with cholesterol. Heart failure often leads to death or permanent disability.

Heart desease has a genetic component to it, but there's still a lot you can do to prevent it. To keep this simple, there are two very important things - eat healthy and exercise. You might think that losing weight should be there too, but if you do those two things you probably won't have a weight problem.
