Alcaholism

Alcaholism is a problem of abuse. Some people want to call it a disease and some a disorder. But the bottom line is that it's an abusive behavior that has a genetic component. It's not a choice that you make. People become alcaholics against their will.

Nonetheless, it's important to recognize when drinking alcahol becomes a necessity rather than a choice. And it's important to take action to stop drinking alcahol at that point. Forever.

Alcaholism is responsible for an incredible number of deaths each. Alcaholics die by destroying their own bodies with alcahol. And they kill themselves and other through alcahol-induced irresponsibility activities like driving drunk.

So if you or someone you know is addicted to alcahol, then please do something to stop it. Nothing good can come from it.
