Alcohalism

If you or someone you know is an alcohalic, then there's one important thing to understand. Once an alcohalic, always an alcohalic. While you can stop drinking, you will never lose the addiction. Although the intense need for alcohal will disappear with time, it will return as soon as drinking is resumed.

So it's important for recovering alcohalics to have a social support system. Whether it's AA or just friends that will look out for you, you need to have someone who can help you stay clean when you feel like having a drink.
