Although alcohalism is a common reason people abuse alcohal, you don't have to be an alcohalic to abuse alcohal. Alcohal abuse is simply drinking too much alcohal time after time. Not knowing when to stop. In some cases, this may just mean that you act like a fool and people laugh at you. Even that can't be something you'd want. But in many cases, alcohal abuse can lead to more serious problems like physical violence, verbal abuse, driving while drunk, or putting yourself in danger. Alcohal impairs your judgment, which basically means it makes you stupid. So make sure you stop drinking before you do anything stupid.
