The most common indication of autoimmune hepatitus is general fatigue and tiredness. But a number of other symptoms can present themselves as well, such as nausea, joint pain, and discolored stools or urine.
A red flag symptom to look out for is jaundice. Obviously, this is an indication of a liver problem, and autoimmune hepatitus is serious liver problem. If your skin or eyes are taking on a yellow hue, see a doctor immediately.
