Perhaps the number one thing to be aware of in looking out for melinoma is the presence of moles on your body. Take a look at your moles once in a while when you notice them to see if they may be problematic. Normal moles are very unlikely to develop into melinoma, but irregular moles are dramatically more likely. If it's detected and removed early, then there's a very good chance that you'll be fine.
