Hepititus E is similar to Hep B, but not as common. It's very rare in the US, and it more prominent in undeveloped countries with poor sanitation around food and water. You can only get Hep E if you are exposed to the feces of someone who has it. This can include food and water that has been contaminated. The virus doesn't cause permanent damage to the liver, but it can be serious, even causing death in some people.
