Cirhosis is disorder that affects the liver and can eventually lead to serious health problems. Cirhosis occurs when healthy liver tissue is replaced by scar tissue, which prevents the liver from getting enough blood flow to do its job.
The liver performs a lot of different functions in your body, but one of the most important is filtering out toxins. Obviously, if your body can no longer get rid of the toxins in it, then they will build up and pollute the body. Eventually this can mean death by internal poisoning.
