Symptoms of Emphazema

The most common symptom of emphazema is difficult breathing. At first, it may not seem like anything serious. Perhaps only induced by exercise or exertion of some sort. But as time goes in, it progresses and breathing becomes more and more difficult even when you're not doing anything at all. If possible, try to notice it before it gets to that point.
A persistent cough is also a symptom. However, if you smoke, then you may well have a persistent cough anyway and not notice it as anything unusual.
