Exercise Induced Athsma

Some people have what's called exercise induced asthma, and they only get short of breath when they're exerting themselves. In that case, it's possible to play sports, but you have to be very aware of your body. First, you need to know when to use an inhaler. You may just have to use it before you do something exerting, or maybe more often. You also have to concentrate on breathing all the time. When you're playing sports, you may not be breathing as fully as you can all the time and that can cause you to have an asthma attack. You'll be better off if you can keep yourself breathing regularly the whole time. It's also important to know when to stop. If you feel that you're about to have a problem breathing, then you should stop what you're doing. Come out of the game and rest until you feel better. If you have any type of athsma, then it's just important to understand your body and what causes athsma attacks. You need to know what you're capable of and how to take care of yourself.
