High Blood Presure

If you have high blood presure, then that means your heart is working too hard to pump blood through your body. If this continues for a long time, then your heart enlarges to the point that it becomes more difficult for it to function efficiently.

Additionally, when your heart is working too hard, that somehow contributes a hardening of your arteries. And this makes it harder to blood to move through them. So it's a double whammy.

These are the main reasons that so many people with high blood presure have hearts attacks and strokes. The blood just can't circulate through their bodies well enough to keep them functioning.
