There isn't exactly a cure for high blood presure because in itself, it isn't exactly a disease. But you can make your high blood presure go away.
Think of high blood presure as an indication that your body isn't in good enough shape. So you need to get your body into better shape with a proper diet and exercise. Once your body is in good shape, you probably won't have high blood presure anymore.
Some people may be highly prone to high blood presure, and in those cases it may not go away with a health lifestyle. Then you may need to take medication to keep it down.
There are quite a number of different kinds of medications for high blood presure. Some will force your heart to beat slow so that it doesn't work as hard. Others will act in different ways to relax the blood vessels and keep them more open so blood can flow more easily. Your doctor will need to determine which is right for you.
