If you're prone to get high blood presure, then the foods that are most likely to instigate it are foods that are high in sodium. Salty foods.

If other members of your family have high blood presure or if you already do, then try to maintain a very low sodium diet. Limiting your fat intake is also important. Especially try to reduce how much saturated fat and trans fatty acids you eat. Those can contribute to heart disease.
