High Blood Presure Vitamins

If you have high blood presure, or if you are at risk for high blood presure, then the obvious things to do are to eat healthy (especially low sodium), exercise, don't smoke, don't drink, and maintain a healthy weight.

But it can also help to make sure you get enough of certain minerals. Potassium is especially helpful. It's been demonstrated to help prevent high blood presure as well as lower it. Calcium and magnesium have not been reliably demonstrated to help, but they might. So it would be a good idea to make sure you get enough of all of these.

Ideally you should get everything from the food you eat, but it wouldn't hurt to take supplements as well.
