The need for insurance as well as the cost of insurance will depend on what country you live in. Some countries provide free health care, but others make you spend a lot of money to get good health care. But if it's possible that you may need any expensive treatments, then it's important to make sure it isn't all paid for out of your own pocket. That could put you in debt for years.
