Limphoma is a type of cancer of the limphatic system. The limphatic system is part of your immune system. Limphoma occurs when the cells of a limph node replicate too quickly (which is the essence of cancer).
There are two main types of limphoma (with many smaller variations) - Hodgkins Disease and Non-Hodgkins Limphoma. Hodgkins tends to occur in younger people, while Non-Hodgkins is more common in older people. Both can difficult to diagnose because they don't have distinctive symptoms.
