2 WEEKS AGO I WAS DIAGNOSISED WITH AUTO IMMUNE HEPATITUS. I AM IN STAGE 3 LIVER DISEASE. THE DOCTOR HAS ME ON 20MG. PREDNISONE AND 50 MG. IMURAN DAILY. I AM HAVING WEEKLY BLOOD TESTS AND AFTER THE 1ST. WEEK MY ALT. WAS DOWN TO 38 AND MY AST WAS DOWN TO 28.
I WOULD APPRECIATE HEARING FROM ANYONE WITH THIS DISEASE, HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD IT, WHAT CAN THE PROGNOSIS BE. DOES ANYONE TAKE INURAM AND HOW HAVE YOU BEEN AFFECTED? DO YOU GET SICK EASILY,DO YOU STAY AWAY FROM CROWDS AND PEOPLE?
I WORK AS A CASHIER AND I AM IN CONTACT WITH THE PUBLIC. MY DOCTOR HOPES TO GET ME OFF THE PREDNISONE IN 3-4 MONTHS BUT I UNDERSTAND I MAY HAVE TO TAKE IMURAN THE REST OF MY LIFE.
I SEE MY DOCTOR THE 17TH. OF NOVEMBER. WHAT QUESTIONS SHOULD I ASK HER? I APPRECIATE ANY RESPOSES. THANK YOU
