Initially was told I would need a hip replacement, had a private x-ray and saw a sport physio and she said it was bursitus and that the doctor was wrong. Had several sessions of ultrasound which helps a few courtiszone injections which help a bit but have just discovered that these can cause scar tissue with then causes more problems. It seems ultrasound is the best method of treatment. Have just aggrivated it again by lifting something heavy, it doesn't take much to start it off again. Sitting in certain chairs cause big problems.
