On Jan 13, my therapist told me that he had three other patients with the same "problem" he had tried Risperadal 0.5mg for them and it seemed to help. At this point, I was feeling very disgusted with the whole idea of another med to try. But I did anyway. I held off taking it for almost a week and I tried it. Almost instantly the feeling of pulling was gone. I couldn't believe it. I have to take it twice a day and I can tell when it is wearing off. I get the urge to pull again. But I have only pulled a few hairs in the past two weeks. My huge bald spots are growing in and maybe someday soon I will be able to be without a hat. What a day that will be. Like Christmas and the Fourth of July all rolled into one. Hope this info helps someone.
