People who have bipolar disorder, as the name implies, experience drastic mood swings, sometimes very quickly. When they're feeling good, they might be a lot of fun to be around. Lots of energy and a great mood. They also might feel a great urge to organize and clean up their environment. When they're feeling bad, they're very unpleasant to be around. They're very irritable and can go over the deep end over something completely insignificant. They're often hostile and abusive (not necessarily physically) to people close to them when they're in this state. It's very difficult for them control their emotions.
