> My two year old had Rhumatic Fever a month ago. He took the antibiotic Zythromax ( he is allergic to penicillan). He still has alot of conjestion and low level of activity as well as complaining that he just doesn't feel good. He went misdiagnosed by two different pediatricians for a month. They say he is fine now but no one has done a strep test since he first was tested and had the rash and joint pain, he couldn't walk. My question is do I need to have any more testing down, like a blood test or does strep go away after taking Zithromax? I am very worried.
