My name is Frances and I'm 14 years old. I've been pulling out my hair since I was 12. My sister got pregnant and she was 17 and I was that age and she and I are both bipolar, so we fought constantly. It's not that I was mad because she wanted attention.. it just hurt because she was 17 and she shouldn't have been happy for having a baby at that age and everyone was so excited. I had really really bad stress, so one day I just started pulling at the crown of my hair, and when it was gone I did everywhere else on my head, too. I wear a wig now and everyone but my real friends make fun of me. No one else I know has it and it's really difficult. I've tried medicine and nothing works. So I only take meds for my bipolar, manic depression, insomnia, etc. I hope I can get real help..
