I have cholesterol plaque build-up in oarteries.Crestor and plaix were prescribed.Ten days after starting daily doses(crestor 20 mg.) my liver lab exam showed severe impairment.Hoospitalization was necessary and suspension of all drugs was necessary. However, gama gltymil transferasa(GGT) 10 days after drug suspension has a reading of 368.Due to a thrombosis 4 years ago,I take 5mg. of coumadin daily.
MY doctor prefer that I not start with another sttin until the liver tests show more normal readings.
Any suggestions will be received with thanks
