Genital herpies is a virus that can cause intermittent lesions around the genitals. There's medicine that can help prevent outbreaks, but it's best if you can use it as little as possible and try to prevent outbreaks in other ways. There are some more natural preventative measures as well as treatments for outbreaks, such as Lysine.

It's also best to try and prevent high stress levels. This can be a big contributor.

Genital herpes is often passed from from people who don't know they have it. And in many cases this is men. Women tend to have far more outbreaks than men. Men may actually never have an outbreak or a single lesion. And unfortunately, there's still no good test to determine if you have it.

So it's best just to be careful.
