Halatosis

Halatosis is just a technical term for bad breath. Or more properly, it probably usually refers to chronic bad breath, not bad breat from eating garlic.
There are lots of different causes of halatosis. In a simple case, it may just be that you have very dirty teeth and need to go to the dentist to get them cleaned. In other cases, it may be that you have gum disease or excess bacteria on your tongue.
Sometimes, it's easily cured and other times it's not. But even in the worst cases, you can usually at least do something to alleviate it.
