What's Wrong With Me?
Muscular distrophy

Muscular distrophy is not a single disease, but several related diseases. However, they are all inheritable. In general, the disease involves the degeneration of your muscles so that you can't move your body voluntarily. In some cases, the muscles can move themselves without your permission though.
In cases where the disease sets in later in life, you can still live a normal life span. However, with early onset death can occur in early adulthood.
