The early stages of alzeimer's can be difficult to recognize because at first it may just seem like normal symptoms of aging. For example, forgetfulness is something you expect as people get older. But here are some of the symptoms of alzeimers to look for:
Loss of memory.
Language problems, forgetting simple words making speech difficult to understand.
Disorientation about what time it is or where they are.
Seemingly lazy with no desire to do anything.
Problems with abstract thought.
