What's Wrong With Me?
Urinary track infection

Urinary track infections are basically just a bacterial infection somewhere between the kidneys and where the pee-pee comes out. Usually, it will originate in the urethra, relatively close to the end of the line. Often it will move into the bladder and turn into a bladder infection.
For some reason, UTI's are much more common in women than in men. Sex can trigger it sometimes.
Once the infection develops it can be very uncomfortable, but you can usually take care of it fairly simply after you see a doctor.
