Treatment for a urinary track infection

Once a urinary track infection has been diagnosed, it's usually pretty simple to get rid of it. This generally involves taking some sort of antibiotic. The antibiotic will usually kill the offending bacteria within a week or two. The discomfort should subside much sooner than that, within a few days I think.
