Tendonitus causes

The most common cause of tendonitus is overuse of a particular tendon. Often, this results from repetitive use. For example tennis players often get tendontitus in their elbow (of their racquet hand) because they use their elbow much more than most people. And they use it to do strenuous things. If the tendon can't handle all the demands, tendonitus can develop.
It's also possible to get tendonitus as you get older simply because your body is wearing out and the tendons can't handle what they used to.
