Lung canser has become more common as we've made polluted the air we breathe. However, the major cause of lung cancer is entirely preventable - smoking. Don't smoke and you'll decrease your chances of getting lung canser immensely. Unfortunately, second hand smoke also contributes to lung canser, so if you stop smoking you'll be doing everyone a favor. Granted, it's easier said than done, but it's well worth doing.
