In Response To: Alergies (Dave)
An alergic reaction is your body's immune response to something that it thinks shouldn't be in your body. You're body is trying to get rid of something and this response includes a release of histamines. Histamines are what cause the alergic symptoms.
Unfortunately, when this happens to something like dust, then your body has made a mistake and it's just causing you misery. That's why you take antihistmaines to get relief from alergies. The antihistamines get rid of the histamines in your body and give you relief from their effects.
