Type 1 diabeties

Type I diabeties is when your body doesn't produce any insulin, or very little. Therefore, your body can't properly convert glucose (sugar) into energy. As a result, people with type 1 diabeties typically have to inject themselves with insulin daily.
This form of diabeties usually develops in childhood or early adulthood and unfortunately, the life span is usually shortened somewhat because of it.
